New aging talk at the museum of modern art, nyc

Paola Antonelli, Senior Curator of Architecture & Design at MoMA, invited me to speak about my position on "age-friendly" cities and discuss how designing with older adults in mind benefits people of all ages and abilities. Individual presentations were followed by a discussion alongside fashion and culture icon Bethann Hardison; writer and anti-ageism activist Ashton Applewhite; feminist performance artist Linda Montano; and associate director at 100 Resilient Cities Liz Agbor-Tabiunpack, to unpack some of the challenges associated with the "longevity revolution," a pervasive and unprecedented shift in the age composition of the world population.
